Rapid Critical Metals (ASX: RCM) has commenced reverse circulation (RC) drilling at its Webbs Silver Project with an initial phase that sees the first of two rigs actively testing the southern extension of the Webbs ore body.
Drilling will also focus on a newly discovered parallel lode.
The company plans further drilling to test and better define the southern, central, and northern sections of the Webbs resource.
Importantly, Rapid Critical Metals stated it is fully funded to deliver this catalyst-rich program of resource growth, step-out drilling, and new target testing.
District Tenure Expansion
In parallel with its drilling activities, Rapid Critical Metals has lodged an exploration licence application that aims to extend the company's district-scale position further south.
The new tenure covers prospective ground along the same north-south structural trend that hosts the Webbs Consol and Tangoa prospects.
This ground is considered prospective for intrusion-related, structurally controlled silver-lead-zinc dominant epithermal mineralisation.
The company highlighted that it controls the entire western periphery of the tightly held Mole Granite, viewing these margins as key for intrusion-related systems.
Tangoa South Program Pending
A four-hole RC program totalling 560 metres is planned for the Tangoa South Prospect.
This program is drill-ready, awaiting regulatory sign-off.
Historical results from Tangoa South include a best intercept of 3.8 metres at 75 g/t silver, 10.3% lead, and 7.4% zinc, equivalent to 359 g/t AgEQ.
Another historical intercept at the Isolation Prospect reported 12 metres at 18 g/t silver, 1.1% lead, and 1.1% zinc, equating to 60 g/t AgEQ.
Strategic Project Development
This aggressive exploration push builds on previous successes at Webbs, where previous drilling in February 2026 confirmed the continuity of bonanza-grade silver mineralisation and suggested potential parallel lodes within the Webbs corridor.
The company also expanded its New South Wales landholding significantly in April 2026 with the acquisition of an 80% interest in the Tooloom Silver Project.
This project added 121 square kilometres of tenure, featuring over 80 historical workings and multiple drill-ready targets.
Rapid Critical Metals maintains that its strategy is to leverage its control over the entire western periphery of the Mole Granite, a geological setting deemed crucial for intrusion-related systems.
The company is fully funded to advance these programs.
